Sheepskin is the most luxurious material used to make car seat covers. Genuine Australia sheepskin is used for our seat covers and is available in a variety of grades.
Being a natural material, sheepskin keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Sheepskin is extremely soft to touch and makes for a comfortable ride. It is also a very durable material and can last many years.
Our sheepskin seat covers come in 5 colours: Black, Charcoal (dark grey), Grey (light grey), Mocha (milk coffee), Ivory (off white).
Our sheepskin seat covers use Deploy Safe stitching technology. This stitching opens up if there is an accident and allows the airbags to pop out.
We have 7 grades of sheepskin in our range. The entry level is called the Explorer which is only available in charcoal colour. The explorer is made from diamond cut sheepskin, and is made from small pieces of skin stitched together. It is therefore not as smooth as the higher end models. The Explorer is also not airbag safe making them unsuitable for later model vehicles.
Drover is the next step up. These airbag safe seat covers have a 16mm thick fur and come with a 3 year warranty. The Rivergum has a 20mm thick fur, and comes with a 4 year warranty. Snowyfleece 25mm is the next in the range with a 5 year warranty. The Adventurer is the top of the range model which has the Deploy Safe stitching. These are 25mm, but contain genuine skin on the sides and skirting. A feature not seen on the lower models.
Longreach is the thickest pile sheepskin at 27mm and is the only set . The Longreach is not airbag safe, and has a slight opening in the back of the seat covers.
We also hand make sheepskin seat covers for your vehicle. Hand made seat covers are required for seats which are more complicated eg. racing style seats, armrests, bucket and ¾ bench and rear seats. For more information of custom sheepskin, please see our pricing guide.
