Excellent Hail Cover – Sturdy, Accurate Fit, and Great Design
I’m really impressed with the PC Procovers Essential Hail Proof Protection Car Cover (Large PC40150L). It’s a sturdy and well-designed product that offers excellent protection. The sizing guide was spot on—my car measures 4.35m (L) x 1.78m (W) x 1.41m (H), and although the cover is slightly longer (4.82m), the adjustable straps and buckle clips secure it nicely. I especially like the three clip buckles—one at the front, one at the back, and one underneath the middle. The front and rear clips are easy to fasten between the tyres and flaps, keeping the cover secure even in windy weather.
The foam layer on top helps water evaporate quickly when the sun comes out, and the waterproof inner liner means the car stays dry underneath. It also provides UV protection, which is a bonus.
The cover comes in its own handy storage bag, although due to its bulk, it’s not something you can throw in the washing machine. I recommend only using it on a clean, preferably dry, car. I’m currently trying to figure out a way to store it without the dirty outer layer touching the clean inner layer when rolled up.
Once you know the shape (the triangle gussets at the front windscreen help), it’s easy to identify front and back. That said, a small tag marked "front" or "top" would make it even more user-friendly.
Overall, this cover does exactly what it promises. Excellent fit, great protection, and smart design features. Purchase and shipping were a breeze and great value for money. Highly recommended.
