The BlazeCut TR200FKS is designed for small, enclosed areas like engine compartments and electrical cabinets. It is a self-contained, heat-sensitive tube system that does not require any external power supply for activation. The "S" in the model name indicates it includes an integrated pressure switch for remote signalling.

 

  • Activation: The system is entirely automatic, activating when the heat-sensitive plastic tube melts at the point where the temperature is highest (around 105°C ± 3°C or 221-230°F). This creates a hole through which the extinguishing agent is released directly onto the fire source.
  • Extinguishing Agent: It uses the clean agent FK-5-1-12, a non-corrosive and non-conductive gas that leaves no residue after discharge, ensuring no damage to sensitive electronics and no clean-up costs. This agent is suitable for Class A, B, C, and E (electrical) fires.
  • Design & Installation: The system is simple to install using included cable ties and is operational 24/7 independently of any power supply. The tube acts as both the storage container and the detection device, removing the need for a separate cylinder.
  • Integrated Pressure Switch: The "S" in the model name signifies a factory-installed pressure switch. This allows the system to be connected to an alarm panel, buzzer, or vehicle shutdown system to provide an audio-visual warning or shut down machinery upon activation or significant pressure drop.
  • Maintenance & Lifespan: The T Series is maintenance-free during its entire working life, which can be up to 10 years depending on the application and environment. It includes a pressure gauge for visual monitoring.
  • Coverage: A 2-meter system is designed for small enclosures, generally covering a volume of up to 0.91 m³ (cubic meters) with HFC agents.
